Return Policy & Warranty

We want you to love your Oak & Acorn pieces. Because many of our items are limited, special, or custom, our return and warranty policies are specific and carefully designed to protect both you and our work. This policy explains who is eligible for returns, what we consider a “Permitted Return,” and how to request help if something is wrong with your order.

We allow a full refund on inventory on merchandise returned within 10 days of receipt in its original condition. Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed and returned in the original garment bag. Merchandise must have all tags, including attached hangtags. 

We’ll do our best to facilitate swapping out unworn, unwashed, undamaged and unaltered items for a similar style or store credit.

1. Condition of Returned Items

All Permitted Returns from www.oakandacornbrand.com must:

  • Be returned by the original purchaser

  • Include all original product components

  • Be in the original packaging

  • Be sealed, unused, and undamaged

Oak & Acorn reserves the right to inspect any return and to limit or refuse returns if we have reason to suspect:

  • Misuse of the returns policy

  • Excessive return activity

  • Reseller activity

  • Fraud

2. Our Options: Repair, Replace, or Refund

Where applicable under this policy and our limited warranty, Oak & Acorn reserves the right to:

  • Repair the product

  • Replace the product

  • (Partially) refund the purchase price

We will cover the costs of return and other shipping costs only in the case of defective or misdescribed products. These rights apply only to the original purchaser and are subject to applicable law.

3. Where You Purchased Matters

Purchases from oakandacornbrand.com:

  • Only items purchased directly by the original purchaser from www.oakandacornbrand.com may be considered for return or warranty support by OAK & ACORN.

Purchases from Authorized Retailers:

  • If you purchased your item from one of our authorized retail partners, Please contact that retailer directly for returns, exchanges, or support – their store policies will apply.

Purchases from Unauthorized Sellers: If you purchase Oak & Acorn products from unauthorized resellers (including some sellers on marketplaces such as eBay or Amazon):

  • The Oak & Acorn warranty is not valid.

  • Oak & Acorn has no warranty obligation of any kind for these products.

  • These items may be counterfeit, used, defective, or not designed for your country.

For full protection, please purchase only through oakandacornbrand.com or an authorized retailer. If you are unsure whether a seller is authorized, reach out to us before purchasing.

4. Items That Cannot Be Cancelled or Refunded

Certain categories of products are considered final and are not eligible for cancellation, refund, or return once ordered, except where required by law. These include:

  • Pre-order products

  • Limited edition products

  • Final sale products

  • Custom or made-to-order products

  • Products that have already been produced and/or shipped before your cancellation or refund request

  • Products with additional terms listed on their product page

For these items, Oak & Acorn is not obligated to accept cancellations or issue refunds after the order is placed.

5. Our Limited Warranty & How to Report an Issue

If a delivered product does not comply with our limited warranty (for example, it is defective or misdescribed):

  1. You must notify Oak & Acorn within five (5) days of delivery.

  2. You may submit a complaint by email or in writing using the contact details provided at the end of our Terms & Conditions and Limited Warranty policy.

  3. Oak & Acorn will respond:

    • As soon as possible, and

    • In any case within seven (7) days after receiving your complaint.

  4. If we cannot provide a full response within seven days:

    • We will confirm receipt of your complaint, and

    • Provide an estimated time frame for a full or final response.

Unless prohibited by law, our warranty liability is limited to the purchase price you paid for the product.

6. What We Consider “Permitted Returns”

Oak & Acorn uses the term “Permitted Returns” for the specific situations where we may accept a return.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • Refuse any return request,

  • Inspect any item sent back to us (you are responsible for the cost of return shipping for inspection), and

  • Decide whether to:

    • Replace the item (subject to availability),

    • Provide store credit, or

    • Refund the purchase price you paid (including your initial standard delivery charge, or the per-item portion of that charge for multi-item orders).

For Permitted Returns:

  • We do not refund the shipping costs you pay to send the item back to us, except in cases of defective or misdescribed products.

  • We may reject any return that:

    • Is not in its original condition,

    • Is not in its original packaging (or safe, appropriate packaging following our shipping guidelines), or

    • We reasonably believe has been damaged by you.

We also reserve the right to limit returns if we suspect misuse of this policy, such as excessive returns, reseller activity, or fraud.

7. Permitted Return Type 1: Damaged Items

If the product itself (not the outer packaging or box) arrives damaged:

  • The item must have been purchased by the original purchaser and received by that same purchaser in damaged condition.

  • We do not consider damage to the outer packaging or shipping box as damage to the product.

You must notify us within five (5) days of delivery (the “Damage Notice Period”) by contacting us at [insert email or Contact Us link] and including:

  1. A description of the damage

  2. A clear photo of the damaged item

  3. A copy of your original receipt

Any notification or request made after the Damage Notice Period may be refused and rejected.

Because many of our products are limited or special:

  • We may not always be able to replace the item.

  • Oak & Acorn reserves the right to:

    • Repair the product,

    • Replace the product, or

    • (Partially) refund the purchase price.

We will pay return and shipping costs only if the product is defective or misdescribed. These rights apply only to the original purchaser.

8. Permitted Return Type 2: Wrong Color, Size, or Item

If you receive:

  • The wrong color,

  • The wrong size, or

  • A completely different item than what you ordered,

You must notify us within five (5) days of delivery (the “Wrong Color/Size/Item Notice Period”) at [insert email or Contact Us link] and include:

  1. A description of the item you intended to purchase

  2. A clear photo of the item you actually received

  3. A copy of your original receipt

Requests received after this notice period may be refused at our discretion.

Please Note:

  • Due to the limited nature of many Oak & Acorn pieces, we may not always be able to replace an item.

  • We can only accept exchanges from the same country where the order was originally shipped.

  • Customized items cannot be returned or exchanged.

    • You are responsible for double-checking all customization details before placing your order.

    • No cancellations or changes can be made once a custom order has been placed.

    • Customization cannot be requested after an order is placed or after delivery.
